Joél's philosophies combine the principles of Taoism, Zen and Universal Thought. Joél studied at the Baum School of Art, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, from 1982 to 1989. His primary concentrations were Advanced Photography, Studio Art, Ceramic Art, Metal Work, Sculpture, Journalism and Mass Communication, Art and Design, Graphic Design and Multimedia. He studied at John Casablanca’s Modeling and Career Center, in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania, from 1982 to 1985. His primary concentrations were in: Performance Art, Directing, Production, and Fashion Show Design. Joél studied at The North Star School of Photography in Allentown, Pennsylvania from 1981 to 1989. His concentrations were Wildlife/Nature, Nude Study, Fashion, Dark Room Technique, Technical, Commercial, Forensic and Artistic disciplines in the photographic arts. Joél’s travels have taken him to Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Austria, Mexico, and Canada and throughout the continental United States of America. Joél is an ordained minister within the Universalist Church and is a practicing Zen Buddhist Sensei. Joél studied at DeSales University, The University of Phoenix and is currently a student at The University of Sedona.
